Anne with her single mother are forced to move North Hollow to care for her ailing but eccentric grandmother, Nana Cornelia over the summer of ’57.

North Hollow is a picturesque small town in Maine. A place where wildlife roam freely and everyone is friendly. Everything is near perfect besides the strange disappearances and deaths of the local people.

Nana Cornelia’s warns Anne that the house across the road is wicked and alive. While she first dismisses her grandmother’s wild claims, Anne soon notices strange happenings across town and begins to question herself. Is she going crazy like her grandmother or is there truth to what Nana Cornelia.
